What story are you immersed in Monday through Saturday? Since all of life is worship and since, as Dr. James K.A. Smith says, worship restor(i)es us; then worship is happening Monday through Saturday, while at the mall or a Western Albemarle Football game. Our interactions and experiences Monday through Saturday are trying to shape us into a certain story about what matters - telling us something about the good, the true, and the beautiful.
At Hope we desire to saturate ourselves in the story of God everyday of the week. To help us do that we participate with other churches in our denomination in the Daily Prayer Project. A morning and evening prayer guide resourcing us with scripture, practices, music, daily prayers from the global-historical church, and visual art of spiritual and artistic value.
